We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world's leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin

Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2019 and beyond, we are currently seeking a IAM Technology Data Management SME to join HSBC Technology.

The GCB6 IAM Technology Data Management SME role sits within the ITID Identity Access Management Technology Team and reports to the Head of IAM Technology.

ITID Identity Access Management (IAM) function is a globally managed function that ensures HSBC IT infrastructure and applications are managed and run to industry leading standards. This is achieved through an IT IAM process framework and toolset and by measuring, monitoring and reporting on both adherence to standards and quality of IT service performance. The IAM function executes access management processes and supports execution teams across HOST IT. The IAM function's primary purpose is to continuously manage Access provisioning and de-provisioning.

IAM consists of a number of global and regional teams supported by this IAM Technology Unstructured Data Management (UDM) role.

IAM Provide subject matter expertise for unstructured data management

· Drive prioritisation of remediation efforts any incorrectly classified or open shares
· Track and report on remediation efforts to ITID management, highlighting risks to the remediation program
· Create a robust escalation process designed to highlight new areas of none compliance within Data Management to ITID IAM management

This role presents the opportunity to work in a busy and challenging environment. The team provides oversight and coordination of IAM data management. The successful individual will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise for all matters relating to Access for data management.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide primary support and expertise to Global Head IAM and IAM sub-functions for UDM access management

·
Manage, report and analyse scan data for IAM UDM

·
Scan and remediate for any open shares containing categorised restricted data

·
Interface with relevant IAM regions, IAM sub-functions, CIO reps, key GBGF stakeholders

·
Support adoption of standardized ITID COO common service proposition across IAM function.

·
Independently performs assignments to achieve stated objectives and resolve non-routine issues without appreciable guidelines from others.

·
Cultivates an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand


Desired profile



Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:

·  SME knowledge of Data Management and document classification
·  Previous experience working within an IAM function
· 
Proven experience of motivating others to deliver exceptional performance and long terms results

· 
A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others

· 
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered

· 
A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications

· 
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results

The base location of this role will be Sheffield.
