This role

The MME Relationship Manager manages a portfolio of MME customers, with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery. A key function of the role also involves the successful onboarding of attrractive new-to-bank (NTB) clients.

Your main responsibilities will include
• Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of new Middle Market Enterprises customers
• Ensure proactive and appropriate relationship building/customer contact plans and pipeline management for both existing and new customers
• Generate assets through the use of appropriate risk management tools, priced appropriately for risk and returns and within customers risk appetite
• Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between customer and HSBC interests while remaining within the bounds of prudent banking
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of deal and customer information on relevant Group systems
• Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A minimum of five years proven experience in Commercial Banking, managing both public and private Middle Market Enterprises clients, with a demonstrated track record of new business acquisition
• In-depth analytical skills with a strong commercial orientation and a disciplined approach to maintaining credit quality
• Existing skills in structuring working capital solutions across trade and receivables finance, bilateral and syndicated loans
• The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders on a global basis
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and autonomously within a broader team environment
• To consistently meet and exceed customer expectations through superior customer service and solution execution
• Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline.
