Full Stack Engieer

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for executing the Development, Testing and Operational Support activities within the POD.

Full Stack Engineer is part of the Team and skilled in Development, testing and operational support activities, with the ability to move between these according to demand. It is end to end accountable for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate IT Solutions to meet customer needs as part of the customer journey.

Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

As a Full Stack Engineer it is responsible for compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant service management standards, and ensure high data quality exists in service management systems of record. The CFE is responsible to support in identification, root cause analysis and eradication of problems associated with the IT series, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.

As an Operational Engineer it is responsible to support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT Service as directed by leadership of the DevOps team and ensures operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the POD.

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for enabling the team to deliver products and services, and continually help the team to improve technically. Functionally manage the team, being accountable for the performance of the team activities and focuses on continuous improvement of the performance of the team from a productivity, service, quality, training and effectiveness perspective.

Work with the PO, Solution and platform architects to identify changes required, create and agree necessary stories.

Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimized at all times reducing the need of human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance

Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities

Accountable for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework.

Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the team activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly

Responsible for ensuring that all activities performed within the team adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls as defined by the Group Chief Data Officer

Accountable to the TPM for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the team pod

Support the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures and systems

Functionally manage the team, being accountable for the performance of the team activities and focuses on improving the performance of the team from a productivity, quality and effectiveness perspective.
