Key Objectives for Fixed Income Support Analyst:


As a member of the Global Calypso Application team in Toronto, you thrive to provide excellent support, offer business analysis and development for the EM and Credit business.

You focus on solving daily issues, improving the stability and optimizing the Production Environment.

You actively participate to the development of the application.

You are following the HSBC and Fixed Income IT protocols and standards.

You report to the Local Head of Fixed Income and globally to the Head of the Application.

You provide Level 1&2 support within a global organization located in India, London, New York

You provide business analysis and Level 3 support as possible as you grow in expertise.

You will work on the following applications :
· Global Calypso
· Others
Principle Accountabilities:

·
Support the applications, intraday and overnight perimeters.

·
Provide first and second level support on user requests

·
Follow all the guidelines and procedure within Production Support

·
Improve the environment by correcting failures, automating and optimizing

·
Respond to potential problems by following the technical bibles, in order to ensure the best quality of service at all times.

·
Enrich monitoring tools recommended by the Group. (Geneos )

·
Contribute to the technical bibles for each application.

·
Implement changes after considering their impact and thinking of the best way to deliver them.

·
Track incidents by using a global logging system, and own these incidents until closed.

·
Assist developers with their queries

·
Automate routine procedures

·
Work on ever-greening and service sustainability projects

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
·  5+ years' experience supporting a complex system
·  You are familiar with BMC Control M
·  You can stand in front of developers to act as the door keeper of production
·  You are a multi tasker and you can work under great pressure.
·  You don't need documentation to create an sql query
·  You are at ease talking to FO, MO, BO users
·  Knowledge of Devops and Agile tools & techniques
·  Other Fixed Income application knowledge is a plus
