Job description



The Candidate will develop strategies and lead the development and implementation of internal communication, recognition programs and events with a focus on improving the culture and employee engagement. This position will also be responsible for identifying and implementing metrics to measure performance, to develop action plans and objectives. In addition, the candidate will work hand in hand for Corporate Sustainability initiatives.

· Experience with event management

· Excellent leadership and communication skills

· Experience in graphic designing

· Sponsor key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement

· Proactive engagement of associates within the organization through varied structured internal events

· Plan annual budgets and execute proposals and timelines

· Create a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy

· Work with business functions to execute varied high scale business events and senior management / department town halls

Role Context

Employee Engagement falls under the purview of Centre Operations, India.

This team is responsible for organizing HTI wide events in Pune and Hyderabad.

Within Pune, the employee engagement team organizes engagement initiatives.

Authority within the role:

· To plan and organize varied events under the guidance of the Line Manager.

· To formulate budgets which are approved only by the Line Manager.

· To frame policies under the supervision of the Line Manager and the Employee Engagement Committee

· To design communication collaterals ensuring the communication guidelines are followed.

· Vendor selection based on procurement guidelines.

Role Dimensions

The annual budget is USD 100000

Budget appropriation for initiatives and activities within the annual budget

Execution of 50 initiatives annually to 12,000 employees in Pune.

Execution of tentatively 10 townhalls, DevOps summits, 2 TechFests annually.

Deployment of identical events across 4 locations [4 buildings in Pune]

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

· An appropriate degree or similar vocational qualification in communications / organizational development / human resources.

· Experience of working in a communications or CSR environment.
