Project information :

The role is in the AO&M Transfer Agency Team located in Pune, India, Business Bay Office.

The candidate needs to be strong in Technical Development and able to contribute both individually and by leading others. They must have the experience to completely own the development and delivery of program needs and managing the stakeholder needs at the same time.
The role will be a part of the UK TA DevOps POD and has to completely align with all the principles of DevOps Delivery and Support and Agile methodologies adoption for a day to day operations per-se. The role is in the POD which will be dedicated towards servicing the UK side of the Transfer Agency Business closely to provide a follow the sun model.

Suggested responsibilities:
•Self-starter who can work with development teams and stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions.
•Capable of leading development work, possibly mentoring or leading other developers
•Full stack Enterprise development skills including:
•Core Java, up to Java 8 or newer.
•Expert knowledge of Spring framework
•Thorough understanding of microservice based design principles and technology stack
•Comprehensive web development skills, including template libraries and Javascript libraries
•Solid understanding of Relation Database design and high level database principles
•Expert SQL skills
•Examine techniques, systems and processes in use and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency to meet business needs
•Communicate effectively across all stakeholders and proactively build up networks.
•Participate in testing from system integration through UAT
•Participate in test environment management by building automated environment management solutions
•Ability to De-constuct already available products to dig deeper into the design , dev and architecture and then reconstruct the same to suite organisation needs
•Part of the DevOps role, open to provide own production support on a ROTA across the team, with being open to sometimes support the UK hours of business
•Be upfront on the understanding of overall system architecture and do needful troubleshooting as and when needed and also guide team members for building skills and directing towards the RCA as and when needed

Essential Skills:
•Self-motivated with good planning and able to work independently.
•Capable of leading developments
•Core Java, Spring and miroservice development stack experience
•RDB experience, preferably Oracle + expert SQL
•Web development experience
•Understanding of Cloud-based principles
•General code & release management tools
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Strong communication skills
•Experience working in Agile development environments with a Devops mindset.
•Preferably experience working in Banking / Fund House industry. Experience in Fund Adminstration or Transfer Agency / Investor Services business would be ideal.
•Knowledge on the Oracle Platform for Flexcube Investor Services could be an added advantag
