We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Data Scientist .

Principal responsibilities

· Identify new use cases for data science for business growth or risk mitigation;
· Conduct customer-centric analysis to identify opportunities and risks support various projects to fulfill Global CMB's SBO strategy;
· Develop predictive models and establish key insights by applying machine learning techniques to CMB business;
· Advocate and promote the use of data science to drive fact-based activity and behaviour in CMB globally;
· Engage various stakeholders to understand and collect project requirement, present analysis/ results, make recommendations on strategy formulation and solicit project feedback

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or other Quantitative Disciplines with strong association with data science, machine learning and analytic;
·  Proficiency in using Python, R, or similar analytically oriented programming languages;
·  Knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Generalized Linear Model, Clustering, SVM, Random Forests, k-NN, Naïve Bayes, Artificial Neural Network, etc;
·  Experience with cloud analytics platforms (GCP, Azure and AWS) and big data platform (Hadoop, Spark, etc.);
·  Technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures (structured and unstructured) and common methods in data transformation;
·  Knowledge of SAS and/or SQL is a plus;
·  Solid technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in VBA/ Qlikview or other business intelligence or analytics tools will be advantageous;
·  Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
·  Fluent written and spoken English
