We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Data Scientist .

Principal responsibilities

· ​Identify new use cases for data science for business growth or risk mitigation
· Conduct customer centric analysis to identify opportunities and risks support various projects to fulfill Global CMB Strategic Business Objective strategy
· Develop predictive models and establish key insights by applying machine learning techniques to Commercial Banking business
· Advocate and promote the use of data science to drive fact based activity and behaviour in Commercial Banking globally
· Engage various stakeholders to understand and collect project requirement, present analysis and or results, make recommendations on strategy formulation and solicit project feedback

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  ​University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or other Quantitative Disciplines with strong association with data science, machine learning and analytics
·  Proficiency in using Python, R, or similar analytically oriented programming languages
·  Knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Generalized Linear Model, Clustering, SVM, Random Forests, kNN, Naïve Bayes, Artificial Neural Network, etc
·  Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as GCP, Azure and AWS and big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.
·  Technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures both structured and unstructured and common methods in data transformation;
·  Knowledge of SAS and or SQL is a plus
·  Solid technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in VBA and Qlikview or other business intelligence or analytics tools will be advantageous
·  Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
·  Fluent written and spoken English.
