Silver Peak is giving Enterprises the (WAN) Edge! With an end-to-end approach to SD-WAN platform, we are delivering the highest multiplier on your investments in cloud applications and services, transforming your WAN to deliver better economics, control, reliability and performance.

We are looking for a seasoned networking software developer for Silver Peak System’s SD-WAN products. You will develop embedded networking software features using C language in a Linux environment.
 

How you’ll make your mark:

⦁    You will understand data path software (Application classification, ACL, Policy based routing, Firewall, IP Security, Tunneling, QoS, NAT)
⦁    You will understand IPv4/IPv6 applications (DNS, DHCP, AAA, SNMP, Netflow, NTP, IPSLA, VRRP)
⦁    You will understand routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP, BFD)
⦁    You will understand wan acceleration for TCP, HTTP(S), CIFS and Citrix applications
⦁    You will write white box unit test cases for your implementations

About You:

· 
You will have excellent coding skills in C, C++ on Linux platforms

· 
You will have 7 – 12 years of networking software development experience

· 
You will have systems programming skills using Linux process, threads, sockets, shared memory and signals

· 
You will have excellent troubleshooting skills using gdb, valgrind and tcpdump

· 
You will have complete ownership of your tasks and tremendous self-drive

· 
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills

· 
You will have a B.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, EE or equivalent
