Our Supply Chain & Procurement organizations are counted as some of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network, and spend. These groups balance volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

·  Work with cross functional team within supply chain and suppliers to ensure there are no stock out situation and at the same time meet delivery metrics and inventory target as a team
·  End to end purchasing activities : from PO placement, monitor & action (pull in / push out), follow up and update latest delivery status till dock local warehouse
·  Daily review overdue supplies delivery and within 1 week delivery
·  Replenishment of PO to cover forecast
·  Monitor and make assessment on supplies situation
·  Aging finished goods pull validation
·  Re-boxing of damage box
·  Site rebalance of supplies whenever required
·  Timely dispose non-useable materials
·  New product introduction setup
·  Resolve supplier invoicing issue
·  Handle returns to supplier
·  Roll up weekly escalation list
·  Attend weekly conference call with WW on supplies shortage
·  Update or create new documentation for process
·  Manage a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes in supplies planning
·  Identify opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations
·  Drive backlog management
·  Coordinate or lead internal team to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
·  Conduct post mortem and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience
·  At least 5 years of experience in performing a buyer role

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make delivery).
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong interpersonal skills, fast learner and ability to multi-task
·  Strong SAP know how
·  Good understanding of China custom regulations
·  Developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
·  Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.
·  Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis
·  Independent , self-driven and good sense of urgency
