The charter of the Product Life Cycle Coordinator is to ensure smooth handling of product introductions, product structure changes and product obsolescence in regards to all order management related topics: Support of the order fullfilment process during the complete product life cycle’ Contact for SC OM colleagues for PLC related questions; Handling of PLC related actions on orders to enable correct order flow throughout all subsequent order management processes.

The Product Life Cycle Order Coordinator within SC Order Mgmt. is the interface to the colleagues in Sales Operations in Europe and also overseas, the worldwide NPI team, product engineering as well as procurement and planning. Also included is the role as the Shipment Hold Coordinator which governs the technical shipment hold process within SC OM.

Responsibilities:

·  Coordinate ship-releases according to SRT and the obsolescence process within EG EMEA SC OM according to given checkpoints
·  Coordinate overlap with orders in production
·  Handle product structure changes, trigger respective backlog action in SAP, collaborate with other SCOM teams and Sales Ops as required
·  Backlog management based on data from ECM process, incl. prioritizations
·  Create test orders according to requirements from NPI product engineering and clarify any upcoming issues with the respective team (PDM, NPI)
·  Cover  the European requirements contributing to the development of ordering guidelines and cooperate closely with the process engineering teams
·  Participate in cross functional projects and in worldwide NPI phone conferences
·  Coordinate status setting and removal for order backlog affected by Technical shipment holds; collaborate with product engineering; own communication to Sales Operations; ensure webbased information sharing (issue + backlog)
·  Support ww risk / revenue impact investigations on purges and tech shipholds
·  Subject matter expert / cross-site SC OM PLC process owner for  Current Product Changes

How you’ll make your mark:

·  Define & control Key performance indicators
·  Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement
·  Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
·  Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.
·  Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business teams.
·  Ensure the goals set in the Business Fundamentals are met.
·  Produces reports using IT systems (SAP, IMS, etc.) and manually collected data and analyzes data to develop trends on order cycle time and rootcauses of non clean orders and Tech Shipholds; articulates findings to management; drives corrective actions
·  Drive general process improvements
·  Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within PLC on the job content, act as Business consultant
·  Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
·  Collaborate with PDM, NPI Engineering, Product Engineering, and other different stakeholders
·  Supporting cross functional teams with bizz guidance, mainly Engineering, Sales Ops, SCOM, interface between PLC and other SCOM Teams to improve order backlog situation
·  Collaborates across countries within a region and also cross-regional
·  Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.

Your skills:

·  SAP, Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point,VISIO, IMS
·  Advanced knowledge of SAP
·  Very strong written and verbal communication skills
·  mastery in English and local language.
·  advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
·  Project Management Skills
·  Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
·  Proficient understanding of HP’s overall supply chain strategy.
·  Product know-how across the whole EG product portfolio and knowledge of the order guidelines that have to be adhered to for EG SC.
·  ability to understand and explain complex product structures
·  In-depth knowledge of order management related systems (especially Fusion SAP) and processes is required.
·  Developed leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
