Within CMS, the Digital Identity, Mobile Core & 5G and Digital CMS solutions related to subscriber data management, 5G Mobile Core assets including SDE, Authentication Functions and NEF and Digital Solutions that span from IN to TAS solution.

Job Description

The CMS WW Portfolio Management Solution Architect acts as the technical leader for the above described solutions.

Job responsibilities include:

·  Act as lead solution architect on large and complex deals in the areas of CMS Solutions/Product Families;
·  Develop emerging use cases across the CMS portfolio with special focus on 5G, Core Network and Digital Identity, identify new technology trends, understand implications for CMS portfolio and business, and validate new propositions with lighthouse customers. Examples of current trends are NFV, Orchestration, 5G Mobile Core, Software aaS (GreenLake &  Cloud based);
·  Lead the development of the CMS WW technical community, driving the definition and delivery of regular technical trainings to the SA/TC community, together with the Solution Family leads;
·  Acts as subject matter expert providing direction and guidance to Solutions teams, educating the wider sales and technical community by building briefing packs on new technology trends and impact for sales and technical team.

In this role, the Solution Lead works closely with Sales, Delivery, Product Families and Support teams to evaluate customer requirements, design technical solutions, prepare statements of work and deploy cost-effective solutions.

Key knowledge/skills

·  Proven track record of defining and developing Telco solutions, in particular the candidate must show a good knowledge in OSS, Orchestration, 5G Mobile Core, Core Network (HLR, HSS, PCRF, IN), Digital Identity;
·  Experience in working with customers in both presales and delivery;
·  Excellent customer facing skills, integrity and confidence with good presentation skills; ability to gain trust of clients and act in a mutually beneficial manner;
·  Ability to negotiate both technically and commercially;
·  Demonstrates ownership and assumes responsibility to drive resolution of issues;
·  Excellent teaming skills: communication, coordination, responsibility, attention to detail, adaptability, initiative, positive influence;
·  Ability to manage priorities and maintain engagement across a number of projects at various lifecycle phases;
·  Excellent verbal and written English language communications skills;
·  Willingness to win, Political Savvy, Holistic view;
·  Ability to cope with very high peak workloads, short deadlines and significant pressure.

Education & experience

·  10 – 20 years’ experience in relevant technical streams
·  University or Bachelor's degree; advanced University degree preferable
