Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Release Beta Engineering Intern to work in the Houston, TX office.  This individual prepares HPE's new products for the Beta Customer Evaluation Program. Configures both H/W and S/W options, as well as, tests Beta Customer evaluation systems prior to shipping to customers for their evaluations. Provide ongoing technical support to customer requests during the beta evaluation period.

Responsibilities:

·  Configures HPE Proliant Servers for use in our Hybrid IT Compute and Solutions Group’s Beta Customer Evaluation Program
·  Ensures systems are functioning and tested prior to shipment to customers who will be evaluating them
·  Provide ongoing technical engineering support throughout the beta evaluation period
·  Partner with marketing team for program and customer requirements
·  Collaborates with other internal team members and communicating customer provided feedback to them on evaluation experiences

Education and Experience:

·  Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical track
·  Experience with hardware/software systems design tools and languages.
·  Good analytical and problem solving skills
·  Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
·  Understanding of basic testing and debugging procedures
·  Experience making presentations, verbal and/or written, to key stakeholders
