College/University Graduate hires (within 12 months of graduation per the company's definition) undergoing a specific training and development path within the EMEA Graduate Program.

Responsibilities:
Four-year university students who are working in a technical internship role at the company during their study or in summer breaks between university semesters.

Description:
Interns partner with talented and experienced professionals in the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Productivity team who help our customers solve their demanding analytics and AI problems.  These internships run during the summer months for 3-4 months between academic sessions. This position is located in Seattle, WA.

Interns will engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing machine learning/deep learning (ML/DL) frameworks in the data analytics field. Interns stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding of ML/DL and hopefully, the desire to return as a professional member of the Cray team.

The candidate chosen for this ML/DL internship will work on developing advanced, end-to-end AI workflows and tools to support those workflows.

Requirements:

An intern candidate for this position will ideally have knowledge and/or experience with one or more of the following areas:
•    Required: CS or CE major, or extensive CSE coursework.
•    Required: very familiar with Linux development environment
•    Required: Experience with Java
•    Highly desired: Familiarity with TensorFlow, Caffe or other Deep Learning frameworks
•    Highly desired: Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Singularity)
•    Highly desired: Experience building machine learning algorithms
•    Highly desired: Prior or current ML/DL coursework
•    Desired: Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
•    Desired: Experience contributing to open source projects.
•    Key to success: Sense of humor, able to work well with others, possessing patience and a drive to succeed.

Education and Experience Required:
High School Degree 4th Year of University completed--typically a technical degree specialization.
