We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to work with our QA team, to test and certify our enterprise-class software product. The QA engineer will be involved in setting up test servers, installing software, and performing both manual and automated testing. The role would also involve development of test scripts and working on test automation utilizing popular test frameworks.

Requirements & Qualifications

Strong scripting experience in Linux shell, Dev-ops background is helpful. 

System-level experience in Linux OS, particularly Rhel and Centos

Experience with scripting and configuring Jenkins on Linux

·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
·  3-5 years’ experience in software QA/QE role
·  Hands-on experience in white- and black-box testing
·  Scripting experience in Python
·  Previous experience in test automation with backend/infrastructure server software
· 
Experience with storage, networking, and distributed systems.

·  Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub
·  Exposure with HDFS, Hadoop, Spark, Docker
·  Excellent written and spoken communication skills
·  Ability to work both within a team and independently.
·  Experience in testing and verification of enterprise-quality products
· 
Experience with server virtualization, including VMware and containers.
