MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is critical to guide our GCPQ organization into the future, balancing between long-term transformation efforts and daily operations management. It requires self-sufficient work, with a good understanding of business dynamics, being well equipped with leadership and management skills and strong operations background. 

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

· 
Develop and maintain efficient day-to-day structures for performance-control, immediate problem solving and decision making.                                                                                                             

· 
Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clarified, relevant contacts are identified and the main information flows are established - and that this is well communicated.                                            

· 
Manages escalation paths and escalate issues in a proper way

· 
Manage the operational activities required to ensure service levels are delivered to our customers and stakeholders, as expressed through our key performance indicators

· 
Ensure operational controls are in place to keep HC and budget in line with communicated targets, balance resources between teams according to workload

· 
Drive efficiency improvement plan for your team to address the need for continuous improvement and innovation

· 
Responsible for audit and compliance in day to day operations  

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

· 
Build a high performance work system; attract & promote a talented workforce; build individual and team autonomy, identify and utilize team & individual strengths

· 
Build and update a consistent succession plan to address own role and critical roles in the team

· 
Translate organizational objectives into individual goals and development plans for direct reporting employees

· 
Help employees to understand their contributions towards HPE strategy and get them involved to improve Employee Engagement

· 
Find the right structures for communication, cooperation and coordination - internal as well as on interfaces

CUSTOMER FOCUS / INTERFACE MANAGEMENT

· 
Establish close communication loops to customers/stakeholders to get necessary feedback in time and effectively translate it into action

· 
Demonstrate passion and foster a culture for TCE- Total Customer Experience and TPOE- Total Partner Experience

· 
Network with other teams/organization on site; identify opportunities for knowledge sharing and leveraging best practices

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

General responsibilities:

· 
responsible to achieve the individual objectives, as agreed with the direct manager/supervisor at the beginning of HPE’s fiscal year and as reflected in HPE’s performance management tool (Workday)

· 
responsible of caring for/securing the department’s equipment under his/her ownership during the duration of his/her employment

· 
ensures proper backup and handover during vacation and other absence

· 
applies all applicable internal policies to ensure HPE policies and audit requirements are met

· 
respects HPE’s rules of confidentiality and private information policies

· 
performs additional activities related to department’s activities as assigned by managers

Responsibilities regarding Health and Work safety

· 
To learn and comply with health and safety regulations at work, and their application measures;

· 
To conduct business in accordance with their preparation and training, as well as instructions received from the employer, so as not to expose to risk of injury or occupational disease both self, and others during the work process; to prevent / minimize environmental pollution;

· 
To participate to the EHS risks assessment and the identification of environmental aspects;

· 
To not proceed with decommissioning, changing or removing arbitrarily safety devices, especially machinery, tools, technical equipment and buildings, and to correctly use these devices;

· 
To immediately inform the manager about any work situation which may be a danger for health and safety of employees, as well as any deficiency of prevention and firefighting systems;

· 
To inform the manager and/or the employer about the accidents he suffered;

· 
To participate at EHS trainings (at employment, at the workplace, periodical, at the change of workplace or transfer; when introducing a new work equipment or in case of changes of existent equipment) and to perform medical labor safety examinations at employment and periodic;

· 
To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to make possible the achievement of any measures or requirements provided by labor and health inspectors to protect the health and safety of employees;

· 
To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to allow the employer to ensure that the work environment and conditions are safe and without health and safety risks in his area of activity;

· 
To learn and comply with legislation requirements in the field of health and safety at work, and with provisions of Hewlett Packard Enterprise standards;

· 
To provide all the necessary information required by the labor and health protection inspectors;

· 
To comply with the fire protection provisions issued by the company management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

(Knowledge, skills, experience)

· 
Bachelor degree/master degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience

· 
Experience of 2+ years in Management

· 
Pan-European or Global business environment

· 
Relevant knowledge on IT infrastructure, process and project tools, sales processes
