Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a leading multinational high technology company head-quartered in the US.  Our products and services include servers, storage, networking, converged systems, software and services, as well as financing solutions. We currently has opening for Legal Counsel role to be based in Beijing.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage the full range of legal, risk, governance and compliance issues affecting the daily operation of the business;
·  Provide legal advices to Senior Management and other teams;
·  Draft, review and negotiate a full spectrum of agreements;
·  Develop appropriate approaches to dispute resolutions, litigation/arbitration matters and coordinate with external counsels for litigation;
·  Provide trainings to colleagues on relevant laws and company policies;
·  Review and improve compliance-related procedures and/or polices periodically to ensure compliance;
·  Provide support to other teams such as Ethics and Compliance Office and M&A team from country level;
·  Handle company secretory responsibilities for PRC legal entities;
·  Coordinate the communication with business partners, JV partners, customers and other parties;
·  Other ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

·  In-depth understanding of PRC law, especially general commercial and contract laws required
·  Experience handling or supervising dispute resolutions and litigations
·  Understanding and experience with PRC local practices and strong business acumen
·  Ability to provide practical resolutions balancing risk control and commercial needs
·  Law Degrees (JD, LLM, or LLB)
·  PRC legal qualification
·  At least five years’ experience from private practice and/or in-house
·  Strong work ethic, integrity and professionalism
·  Ambition and can-do attitude
·  English language skills to business standard required
