We are looking for the next great Global Remote Services HPE Aruba Networking Technical Solutions Consultant!

The Global Remote Services is made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, presales,

post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications

problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or

complex systems with the following key responsibilities but not limited to:

- Successfully resolve technical issues (hardware and software) via phone and email from incoming internal or external

businesses and end user’s contacts and proactive notification systems.

- Respond to service, product, technical, and customer- relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications,

and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement (warranty through

mission- critical).

- Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence.

- Ability to articulate clearly, recommend and explain resolutions /clients.

- Partners actively with Level 2 engineers.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

- 3+ years of experience providing technical support to Enterprise Customers and/or Service Providers.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

- Without a degree, an additional 2 years experience required (5+ years total) in technical support to Enterprise Customers

and/or Service Providers

- CCNA certification or 4 modules approved

- Mastery in portuguese, english and spanish.

- HP ASE, CCNA P certification preferred

Other Desired Knowledge and Experience

Switching and Routing -- ideally 3+ years' experience with the configuration, implementation and problem diagnosis of

enterprise networking equipment.

Ideal experience would include several of the following technologies: 10/100/1000/ Gig Ethernet standards, DHCP,

VLANS, QOS, STP, PVST, Spanning Tree, BGP, IGRP, OSPF, MPLS, RIP, TCP/IP, etc.

Wireless experience strongly preferred, to include experience with 802.11B/G/N standards. Wireless encryption techniques

such as WEP, WPA and Radius Authentication.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to use WAN/LAN protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark, or MS NetMon, with the

ability to analyze to the packet level with TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, IGRP, SIP, H.323, among other protocols.

Other desired skills

Security—VPN, 802.1x, Radius, TACACs, Web, Wireless, client authentication access protocols.

Network Management -- Experience with WIN OS, Linux , MYSQL, SNMP, and MIB structures, and HPN iMC or HP

ProCurve PCM network management applications.

Written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
