The HPE Chippewa Falls Manufacturing Operations Team builds servers, racked solutions, and integrated solutions. This position will be on 1st or 2nd shift working 8hr days, Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30 PM or 3:30 to 12:00 for 2nd shift. Overtime may be required, typically Monday through Friday, but occasional weekend hours may be required. HPE Chippewa Falls Mfg. HPE Chippewa Falls is a configure-to-order facility, allowing an array of challenges and learning possibilities for those with a positive and flexible attitude.

Job Description:

·  Work with networking and power cables.
·  Work with other small & large components, both mechanical and electronic.
·  Analyze and sort cables to build cable harnesses.
·  Use online methods and work instructions to label cables to precise customer and HPE standards.
·  Scan all components into the manufacturing shop floor system to ensure proper parts and inventory tracking.
·  Assemble individual cables into bundles, based on order requirements.
·  Install cables in cabinets and across systems, to precise customer and HPE standards.
·  Perform final removal, cleanup, and pack out of networking cables.
·  Audit, package, and prepare systems for shipment.
·  Work is varied and complex at times.
·  Workload is heavy and fast paced.
·  Responsible for maintaining a safe & clean work area.
·  Responsible for maintaining proper dress code as described and maintaining acceptable attendance levels per attendance policy.
·  Responsible for following all rules and regulations of the facilities as described during new hire orientation.
·  Will work on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution and independent judgment.
·  Assist lead, supervisor, or peers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
·  Requires good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.
·  Conditions: Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

·  Must have excellent vision and fine motor skills.
·  Must have excellent attention to detail
·  Must be flexible, with great critical thinking skills
·  Must have the ability to operate manual and power hand tools.
·  Must be familiar with using different computer applications and be able to learn how to use new applications.
·  The ability to work standing up and/or bending or stooping repetitively for 8hrs is required. Associates must be able to stand the entire shift.
·  Experience with pallet jack a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively over an 8hr period while standing and bending.
·  In general, this is considered a primary position where the worker applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks.
·  Requires good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.
·  Responsible for following all rules and regulations of the facilities
·  Must maintain successful communication and working relationship with management & peers of all levels, and reciprocate professional, team-oriented performance.

Experience & Education:

·  Must have minimum 1 year work history.
·  Relevant work history preferred but is not required for this position.
·  A high school degree is required for this position.

U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) required.
