Due to growth and transformation, we are looking to build a team of Senior Technical Writers in Bristol!  You will be part of a brand new initiative, have the opportunity to be instrumental of this exciting time at HPE!

 What you’ll be responsible for:

·   Develop, deliver, and maintain DITA-based hardware and software product documentation targeted to the appropriate audience

·   Set up, load and test HPE products to validate documentation and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development

·   Take ownership for and drive specific projects and initiatives

·   Participate in all aspects of documentation team activities

·   Bring creative ideas to the team that promote innovation and improved documentation quality

·   Complete other tasks as assigned

 

What you need to apply:

·   BA or equivalent degree in English, Technical Communications, or a related field 

·    Solid proven experience as an Information Developer

·   Significant and current experience with DITA-based technical documentation design and writing

You will ideally:

·   Be considered experienced with DITA content management systems, (Ixiasoft CMS experience would be an advantage)

·   Have a strong understanding of structured content and content reuse

·   Be able to manage multiple overlapping projects while working independently and with other team members

·   Be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of enterprise storage systems and concepts is desirable

Being confident in developing videos, chatbots, mobile documentation, or in-product documentation is highly desirable.
