If you are looking for your next opportunity to make a positive customer impact, and work in the growing field of cloud solutions, the Knowledge Management content development team is looking for you to join their global team. The team would leverage your expertise in agile development and authoring solution level content to create and deliver information the customer needs to be successful with HPE’s GreenLake cloud solution offerings. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to lead change and successfully partner with the business unit to address customer pain points through excellent technical content. A plus is the ability to understand how to work in a DITA based writing environment, producing content for multiple, concurrent releases, and be able to act as a peer reviewer.

Job Description:

Analyzes customer information requirements and product specifications to define technical content. Designs and develops written and/or visual product-related information – hard copy, web - (e.g.,user/configuration/troubleshooting guides), and online information (interactive demos, help systems) integrated into product, for a variety of audiences (end user, system administrators, internal support engineers, product developers, training developers). Codes, builds, compiles, and tests online information and/or sets-up, loads and tests systems hardware to create information deliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development. As customer advocate, helps define/refine product requirements. Develops standards and style documents and templates, scripts, style sheets, and script and graphic libraries to ensure common look and feel. Interfaces with cross-functional areas as a member of the product development team, such as marketing, test, support, and manufacturing.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Requires University degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science or related technical/communications field and a minimum of 4-6 years related experience or an Advanced University degree and 2-4 years’ experience or equivalent.
·  Understands concepts and develops in-depth working knowledge of products, applications and systems in assigned area of responsibility.
·  Ability to deliver on multiple project technical requirements, schedules, and information formats.
·  Ability to write following DITA standards, Information Modeling, and Topic writing.
·  Codes in HTML, DHTML, XML JavaScript or similar as required. May provide help systems that are integrated with software products that use proprietary coding methods.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Ability to become the knowledge expert for one or more products or technologies
·  Design, develop, maintains complex technical information for multiple audiences
·  Ability to be self-directed and work in a team
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate up to senior management and across to teams
·  Ability to mentor junior writers
·  Leadership within writing team and R&D engagement
·  Delivering technical presentations to R&D, KM and other teams
·  Advocates new tools/methodologies to improve customer satisfaction
·  Develop guidelines and procedures to set tactical direction
·  Minor in Technical field or equivalent experience in a technical function

U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) required.
