About the GreenLake Global Product Management Technology Architect

HPE GreenLake organization is currently seeking a Global Product Management Technology Architect for its GreenLake Flex Capacity (FC) product offering.  With this offer, Pointnext creates a consumption based pay-as-you-go service-based offering for customers, combining servers, storage, networking, software and services. This provides our customers with the highly desirable option of paying for the usage of their infrastructure on a variable basis monthly, with no upfront cost for the solution.

The Flex Capacity Worldwide Portfolio team is responsible for developing and maintaining the most innovative data center on premise, private, and hybrid cloud offerings in the market today, and continues to innovate the portfolio to maintain HPE’s substantial lead on our competition.

In this role, you will focus on solutioning and architecting HPE GreenLake consumption-based offerings to meet the Global Product Management teams New Service and Product introduction requirements. You will have knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools, and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver global projects.

You will establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally to the global team and with the country GEO’s, as well as with the partner/customer accounts by understanding the partner’s/customer’s business context and their unique situation. You will also collaborate with the Product Management team to meet or exceed revenue, product, customer satisfaction and market share goals for new service introductions.

Responsibilities

As the GreenLake Global Product Management Technology Architect, you will:

· 
architect custom solutions of project and program or operational scope, focusing on the HPE GreenLake portfolio to build consumption offerings for HPE customers

· 
collaborate effectively with the Program / Project Manager to manage regional medium to large projects as necessary; for architectures of project scope

· 
assist in development and delivery of training

· 
coach and mentor less experienced team members

· 
contribute to the development of new company services and modifications to the methodology by supporting GreenLake Product Management team

· 
work on implementing an Attributes Based Model portfolio structure competitive with Public, Hybrid and Private cloud providers

· 
simplify the current portfolio to shorten the sales cycle, create repeatable building blocks, predefined packages and pre-configured solutions which will accelerate our growth in direct and indirect go to market routes.

· 
create program plans to deliver incremental new business growth in FC by expanding our solution to include more innovative features and functionality

· 
perform business and competitive analyses, identify opportunities, and develop recommendations / solutions to drive business improvements

· 
work across HPE Hybrid IT and Edge business units (BUs), Pointnext, HPE Financial Services, Regions and Account teams to develop and/or implement new/enhanced services, solutions, or programs and associated processes to meet target customer / market needs and fuel profitable growth

· 
be responsible for revenue and margin contribution for a set of (more than one) solutions or services (Cloud, Virtualization, Software, Hardware, Software, Consulting, etc.)

· 
utilize an in-depth understanding of customers’ businesses and complex requirements to develop business cases, validate the solutions, and demonstrate services or solutions added value

· 
utilize technical and business skills to lead complex cross-functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business 

· 
design, build, implement, evolve, and manage an Attributes Based Model for GreenLake Flex Capacity, FC Packages and Solutions

· 
perform other duties as needed or assigned

Education and Experience Required

· 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Operations Management or related field

· 
Master’s degree desired

· 
Extensive relevant experience to demonstrate mastery of services business management, including hardware or software product management or services development

· 
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired

Knowledge and Skills Required

· 
Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of product management, project management, services management, support delivery, and/or training

· 
Knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Cloud (Private, Hybrid and Public), and Pay-Per-Use, Consumption or utility Information Technology (IT) and services industry programs

· 
Knowledge of workload optimize infrastructure architectures.

· 
Ability to understand the customer's business problems and needs, and to design a GreenLake solution that appropriately addresses it; able to design planning for accessibility, scalability, and availability

· 
Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of medium to large business unit-level IT based solutions, and participate in the pricing of the solution designed

· 
Ability to provide architectural direction for multiple medium-sized projects concurrently

· 
Ability to build and manage long-term strategic relationships at Business Unit leader and CIO, CTO level

· 
Ability to successfully collaborate with and work on project teams (individual success will be defined by how the organization works as a team, including resource and skill sharing across the organization)

· 
Ability to strategically position the company offering against the competition

· 
Ability to articulate technical or operational problems or issues into understandable business terms

· 
Proven ability to lead matrixed teams to achieve results, exercise independent judgment, partner and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames

· 
Exceptionally strong communication, influencing, and organizational skills

· 
Planning, PMO, program, project management, and change management skills

· 
Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit and ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding worldwide environment

· 
Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills

Knowledge and Skills Desired

· 
Mature project management skills, including experience in managing a project through its lifecycle (Concept, Design, Build, Implement, Manage, Renew, End of Life)

· 
Knowledge of HPE and Pointnext policies, services portfolio and offerings, end-to-end processes, tools, and routes to market

· 
Demonstrated skills in planning and financial analysis

· 
Ability to influence senior leaders in different functions and geographies, and the ability to build strong consensus

· 
Ability to impact internal and external clients on worldwide basis
