The role is responsible for analyzing and identifying IT equipment trends for the Leasing portfolio by targeting opportunities based on performance, company strategy, competition, industry, and the secondary market.    The analyst needs strong communication, relationship, and analytical skills to translate market data into manageable and useful marketing suggestions. 

Responsibilities

·  Collaborate with HPEFS leadership to drive strategic insights and harvest opportunities in the leasing portfolio
·  Identify key portfolio insights and metrics.  Proactively identify trends, exceptions, and areas of risk for the Portfolio.  Make recommendations to drive growth in revenue, margin, and FMV opportunities.
·  Partner with HPEFS’ remarketing organization to drive IT economic Lifecycle solutions.   Recognize strengths and weaknesses within the secondary market and translate them into Portfolio Management growth and remarketing optimization opportunities
·  Become a subject matter expert on specific product sets in the portfolio.  Lead and coordinate the Residual Value setting process. Ensure competitive residual positions; market based pricing components; with regularly reviewed residual value reviews
·  In depth knowledge of the IT and Leasing industries including, competition, and communicating effective positioning
·  Analyze portfolio data using of a suite of tools for Visualization, advanced analytics, Reporting and others for the purpose of making actionable recommendations to mitigate risk, and drive revenue and margin growth
·  Drive the analytics, measurement, and reporting of key performance indicators to improve process improvements and provides unique financial analysis of the lease portfolio on an ad-hoc basis

Knowledge and Skills Required

·  Superior communication skills includes verbal, written, and presentation forms; negotiation, and influence skills. 
·  Knowledge of the IT equipment industry and IT asset remarketing trends
·  Demonstrate a strong ability to Network and engage resources both inside and outside of HPEFS.
·  Creative in strategy and execution to drive revenue and margin
·  Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge.
·  Strong leadership and engagement skills and ability to build partnerships across various functions
·  Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) required
·  QlikView, Power BI, and Business Objects, experience preferred

Education and Experience

·  University degree; advanced university degree preferred.
·  6+ years of experience in the Leasing, Financial Services, or related field

For this position we're able to consider candidates with either US citizenship or an existing Green Card at this time.  This position is not budgeted for relocation assistance at this time.
