The Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration team within Global Business Operations has an exciting opportunity for a Global Project Associate.

Defines high-impact, long-term (i.e., 2-5+ year horizon) business strategies at the corporate, business, and/or regional level. Partners with senior management to identify existing operational and new business opportunities, including market development, investment prioritization, and Mergers & Acquisitions and other growth strategies. Monitors external factors during strategic development, including market forces, macro/microeconomic factors, and competitive implications. Works with and manages cross-functional project teams. Conducts rigorous, data-driven analyses to diagnose the current state and model future outcomes for business performance. Develops recommendations for senior management based on competitive market, financial, statistical, and economic trend data. Manages corporate strategy initiatives and participates in communicating the strategy to the client organization.

Responsibilities:

Creates and manages SharePoint for M&A Project Management documentation (repository for post-mortems, issue/risk trackers, calendars, training materials).

Assists with logistics & event coordination (SKO, Bootcamp, QBR (travel/venue management)).

Manages Demo/POC requests for acquisitions/integrations.

Tracks requests and POs against integration budget.

Creates and track materials for ongoing meetings (ELC, GSLT, Mgmt Reviews).

Supports M&A Integration team by running and organizing reports.

Conducts initial investigation & issue management for challenges identified within an acquisition.

Manages M&A Integration Playbook updates.

Assists M&A Integration team with other specific activities, as needed.

Identifies research, tools, and analyses required to achieve objectives for multiple work streams or projects.

Manages the development of financial and statistical models, structures analytical approaches, and oversees the data-gathering process.

Selects key information and conclusions to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.

Oversees cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients.

Manages the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables.

Consults with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related projects.

Independently drafts and presents client deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies.

Education and Experience Required:

Typically 5-8 years work experience. Often 2 years post' advanced degree experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or mergers and acquisitions. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

Desired PMP certified, Desired GreenBelt certified

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.

Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units.

Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.

Superior group facilitation and interviewing skills.

Excellent project management skills, including project structuring.

Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.

Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.

Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives.
