In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on integral tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner in line with our business values, and developing our own knowledge to support business growth.

You’ll do this by obtaining financial data and performing financial analysis and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). You will drive the forecasting process by reviewing trends within the business and ensuring alignment with business—and corporate-wide goals, whilst ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. How you’ll make your mark:

Account Reconciliation

·  Perform Accounts Reconciliation for low and medium complexity accounts.
·  Reconcile accounts with 'Standard' risk rating by SOX Audit.
·  Ensure GL account balance tie to the Account reconciliation system-ANET.
·  Gain full understanding of account being reconciled and raise any issues to Manager for immediate remediation.
·  Monitor compliance around HPE Accounting and Financial Manual (AFM) and SOX404 Controls.
·  Ensure timely reconciliation of GL accounts as per Corporate guidelines.
·  Ensure outstanding items (escalatables) from reconciliation are cleared within stipulated timeframe.
·  Review low complexity accounts.
·  Ensure strict compliance to the Accounting standards for both US GAAP and Local GAAP.
·  Comply with the concurrent Quality audits, implement the improvements and remediation suggested by the Quality teams
·  Analyze and review supported balance above 360 days.
·  Perform Account Reconciliations for Retained Earnings Account.

About you:

·  You have a university degree with a focus in business or economics or equivalent experience, ideally professionally qualified (i.e. ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
·  You have an understanding of accounting processes and good problem solving skills.
·  You have excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
·  You are a strong communicator both written and verbally.
·  You are a team player and love to learn and grow your knowledge and skills.
