Job Description:

   

In this role you will be the Architect for the HPE Enterprise Storage Tools and Metrics Team.  This team is responsible for continuously improving the product development tools and business information used in day to day product development of HPE Enterprise Storage Solutions.  This position requires a Master Level Engineer with proven experience in Build and Release Engineering, Storage Product Development tools, Data Management Methods to mine internal engineering information needed to make informed business decisions, Understanding of Web Portals and how to display and secure internal information for an organization of greater than 1000 individuals. 

In this position you are required to understand complexities and challenges of the 3Par/Primera Storage System development life cycle and its implementation using Agile methodologies, research operational improvements to enhance team’s productivity, product quality, ease of use and generate dynamic reports of execution for management decisions. 

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·  Typically 10+years experience.

Skills:

·  Experience in Data Governance, Data Science, and Data Management
·  Experience designing and developing storage software systems
·  Experience with Tool Selection, Tool Design and Cross Functional Tool Implementation
·  Programming and Scripting, selecting the most efficient programming languages for Product Lifecycle development.
·  Experience/Knowledge of one or more of the following: C/C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Elm, Rust, Kotlin, Elixir, PHP
·  Knowledge and Experience with Full Stack Development
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
·  Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
·  Collaborates with peers, junior engineers, technicians and external design partners.
·  Typically interacts with high- level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, VP's and Program Core Teams.
·  Proficient in various development, deployment and testing tools of software product life cycle.
·  At least 6 years of implementation experience using continuous integration and deployments tools and brought standardization and quality in software development life cycle.
·  At least 6 years of Development experience in integrating tools and managing them for ease of operation and reporting from central place like SharePoint or web application.
·  System Administrator skills
·  Proven experience in developing standardization, discipline rules and implementing them for better code quality across teams
·  Deployment Automation experience

Additional Description

·  Leads multiple and the most- complex projects requiring software systems development.
·  Drives design innovation and is tasked with key design initiatives.
·  History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
