Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for a Data Engineer to join us! In this amazing role, you will be working in machine learning space on the core tooling for customers need to successfully use the company products and other open source Cloud Native tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Kubeflow and Argo. You'll work with the teams spanning all of HPE to design and deliver our Hybrid Cloud solutions. We’re not learning a new way of doing things – we’re defining the best way to do them.

How you’ll make your mark:

You have a broad understanding of the wide range of machine learning tools for example Tensorflow, Kubeflow, AWS Sagemaker, ML Flw, Spark, etc.

You will be working on various aspects of the hybrid cloud which includes public as well as private cloud services.

You will be providing strong support across all data science uses cases to our customers and internal teams around implementation of services and best practices for hybrid cloud deployments.

·  You will work with HPE and customer data scientists and machine learning engineers to design data systems to serve their needs.
·  You will evaluate and influence the products we are delivering to enterprise customers in the field of machine learning
·  You will co-develop the above products working alongside our key customers.
·  You will design and architect our workflow and pipelines for relational and non-relational data.
·  You will implement such systems to be flexible, reliable, real time and reproducible.
·  You will employ the use of the latest data management systems such as Kafka, Airflow, Spark and Hadoop HDFS, or any tech as see fit.

About you:

·  You have 5+ years of experience building data science pipelines
·  You have experience with data workflow/ETL tech such as Kafka, Airflow, Spark, Hive, Pig, Hadoop, MapReduce or related cloud- based tech (for example, AWS Kinesis)
·  You have top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  You are skilled in Java/C#/Python, or other modern OO programming language skills.
·  You have excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills.
·  You are able to successfully work on a fast paced and agile environment
·  You have a good understanding of Agile Methodologies.
·  You have strong knowledge of data structures, SQL, software design patterns and algorithms (i.e., indexing, hash tables, joins, aggregation)
·  You have knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput services
·  You have knowledge in big data platforms and challenges that come with large scale platforms.
·  You have knowledge in general machine learning and data mining concepts
·  You understand the end to end, machine learning model from creation to deployment.
·  You have experience  with Kubernetes and the ecosystem of Cloud Native tools, for example: Argo, Kubeflow, Ambassador, Istio.
