Job Description:

   

We are looking for a Market Analyst to help A&PS Management team identify and evaluate business growth opportunities, investigate areas of potential investment interest, develop or maintain strategic points of views.

The Market Analyst will report to WW A&PS Business Operations, Strategy and Planning Director.
This is a global role, targeting A&PS business, customers and markets in all major regions.

Responsibilities

·  Leads a broad range, highly complex, time- sensitive market research projects, gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, summarizes research findings and deliver insights into compelling market trends and business opportunities that will drive strategic direction for A&PS business plan and executive decision making.
·  Identify or develop highly innovative analytical tools, financial models and methods to summarize and analyses complex data and new aspects of business performance
·  Collaborate with the A&PS Practices and Product Management teams to conduct portfolio gap analysis, refine business opportunities (business growth potential vs. readiness), develop recommendations from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans
·  Drive all aspects of priority projects related to business growth opportunities, coordinate comprehensive business plan recommendations across Practices based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience and drive to final Management decisions
·  End-to-end management of market research projects, from design, execution and delivery
·  Development of strategic insights
·  Management of secondary data investigations
·  Works with cross-functional teams to support the data collection process
·  Create and analyze financial models for specific investment opportunities under active consideration
·  Develop and present materials that translate complicated analyses into concise and clear narratives that support an opinion or point of view.

Education and Experience required

·  Typically 6-8 years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
·  Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
·  Market research experience
·  Extensive qualitative and quantitative study design, including a wide range of methodologies
·  Experience managing end-to-end project management processes, including research vendor management
·  Analyze and refine key market trends and forecast for A&PS addressable business segments to develop implications for business
·  Drive thought leadership on market drivers and resulting trends, scenarios and forecasts
·  Support business-specific projects associated with segment-specific market analyses, drivers behind market shifts and business performance modelling

Knowledge and Skills

·  Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business areas
·  Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills to develop creative approaches to business analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft tools like Excel, Access...
·  Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
·  Excellent understanding of Advisory and Professional Services portfolio
·  Proficient understanding of the company's overall business strategy
·  Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data, and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.
·  Ability to take guidance and then deliver to deadlines
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Very strong Project Management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies
·  Developed leadership skills, and influencing skills
