Your Opportunity

The Product Assistant will join Gucci Design team and will support Men’s Ready to Wear Design team managing all administrative and secretarial activities. The new joiner will support our Collection Coordinator's and Celebritie’s Designer to plan and carry out all daily activities.

Job Description

How you will contribute (key accountabilities)

·  Support in coordinating design resources and the management of ad hoc projects, including and model booking activities
·  Keep detailed records of meetings with follow-up actions
·  Prepare fabric and garment selections for the team and maintain office copy
·  Create and maintain detailed and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to produce prototype and pre-prod samples
·  Check design CADS and add BOMs to complete tech packs for prototype development
·  Manage factory Sample schedule to ensure on-time prototype delivery
·  On arrival, check all prototypes have been made as specified in BOM/TP
·  Arrange delivery and collection of samples to customers and suppliers
·  Assist in monitoring and assisting the implementation and coordination of the product development calendar (including timelines for special collaborations)
·  Assist in all product development, including fittings, f-t-s
·  Assist in all product development for the entire process, from inspiration to post-campaign production
·  Constantly assisting in monitoring the style-launch progress, and then the sample production progress
·  Compile the Sketches folders and keeping all resources up to date
·  Assist the FTS process (collection launch)
·  Assist all special projects- VIP, charities, particular products

Things That Should Be in Your Background

·  A previous experience in a similar role
·  Good organization skills and high attention to details when completing a task
·  Fluency in English
