Job Description

The Risk Reporting & Quality Assurance Analyst function within the Risk Reporting, Credit Surveillance & Stress Testing (“RRCS”) is responsible for monitor credit risk arising subsequent to transaction/counterparty approval and to provide portfolio and transaction-specific credit risk reporting for Natixis Americas. RRCS monitors credit risks from inception-to-maturity, ensures compliance with credit guidelines and covenants, responds to exceptions, advises management on credit deterioration and synthesizes risks across business activities.

The team is collectively responsible in following areas:

·  Data Quality Assurance by following transaction from inception-to-maturity
·  Assurance compliance with Credit Policies
·  Involvement in New Product Approval Framework
·  Maintain and Record of Risk Identifiers
·  Risk Controls and Issue Management
·  Integration of Stress Testing results into Risk Appetite Framework
·  Managing Cross-Risk Initiatives

The Risk Reporting and Credit Surveillance team works closely with other functions of the Credit Risk and FO teams to ensure execution of a consistent and robust control environment within Risk. This includes developing a consistent assessment data capture and processes interaction with Internal Audit and delivering a robust and timely Data Quality and Risk Management framework for the organization.

The Risk Reporting & Quality Assurance Analyst will be managing following processes:

·  Monitor and Report breaches (limit, tenor and Settlement) on Capital Markets activities.
·  Communicate effectively with Sales teams, Banking teams, other Risk units, Legal department, etc.
·  Liaise with the HO Risk department.
·  Liaise with Stress Testing team to ensure Stress Testing results integration into Risk Appetite Framework
·  Gather, compile, and perform analysis of a large amount risk data with the goal of identifying trends and anomalies that might be indicative of credit problems.
·  Monitor and report on adherence with business-specific lending policies.
·  Produce, perform analysis on/for and continually enhance:
·  Monthly Risk Dashboard
·  Quarterly Reporting of Sensitive Counterparties
·  Assets Quality Monitoring
·  Interagency Guidance on Leveraged Lending report
·  Quarterly Watch List report.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

·  Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or finance.
·  Optional but certainly an advantage: MBA or CFA.
·  Four years or more experience working in financial services.
·  Solid background in Regulatory Reporting, Data Quality & Assurance, and risk management.
·  Ability to handle financial reporting at both a detailed and aggregate level.
·  Effective writing and communication skills.
·  Understanding credit implications of legal agreements and ability to read such agreements.
·  Ability to conduct the independent pursuit of risk analysis, including compiling requisite inputs, while coordinating with colleagues and other departments.
