Job Description

The Loan Syndicator leads on syndication of project finance (infrastructure) and Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) deals as relevant; contributes to development and execution of distribution strategy for individual transactions; coordinates with sales and senior syndications team in identifying accounts for distribution and act as interface in context of deals; prepares marketing materials and documentation related to syndication of transactions; and assists with product development for bank and institutional distribution and servicing relationships

Essential duties and responsibilities

·  Leads the design of transaction structures/financing solutions with different investor bases in mind.
·  Responsible, in conjunction with Origination team, to pitch and win new business from infrastructure and ENR clients.
·  Assist in testing proposed products with rating agencies / market participants and relevant legal/tax/accounting internal or external advisers.
·  Prepare and present marketing materials, pitch books and terms sheets to lenders.
·  Review modeling results / sensitivities and coordinate due diligence.
·  In conjunction with counsel(s), work on offering documents and underlying legal documentation and assist in the implementation and execution of transactions.
·  Liaise on an on-going basis with the internal legal department as needed.
·  Participate in relevant support to sales efforts in cooperation with research analysts, relevant distribution groups.
·  Participate in drafting of information memorandum and answers lenders questions.
·  Negotiate documentation with lenders and steer syndication process towards close
·  Develop lender base, including banks andinstitutional investors, through marketing efforts, pitches, and participation at conferences

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
·  10+ years of relevant experience in a finance / banking environment preferably focused on real estate finance and structured products.
·  Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead transactions.
·  Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment and successfully meet established deadline requirements.
·  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
·  Experience with Latin American clients preferred
·  Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus, but not required.
