Role Summary/Purpose

The Winder (c) will disassemble, clean, insulate, and rewind generator fields and stators.

Essential Responsibilities

As the WINDER C  you will:

·  Disassemble, clean, insulate, and rewind generator fields and stators
·  You must be motivated, reliable, well organized, and committed to learning the necessary skills to become efficient in this position
·  Must be flexible and versatile and perform general work as directed

Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma or G.E.D.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·  Ability and willingness to lift 60 pounds
Desired Characteristics

·  Mechanical aptitude
·  Prior experience in 5S activiteis
·  Previous experience operating forklifts / cranes
·  Previous manufacturing experience
·  Vocational / Technical School training in an electrical program is a plus, but not required.
·  Basic skills in the use of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, angle grinders, tape measures, and wrenches.  
·  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions  
·  Basic shop math to take measurements and cut dimensions as required.
·  Excellent work ethic
·  Eager to learn
·  Self-Motivated
·  Team Player
·  Must be motivated, reliable, well organized, and committed to learning the necessary skills to become efficient in this position
