Role Summary/Purpose
As a Winder - 3rd shift you will perform operations involving the inspection, repair, replacement, installation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical components in turbine Generators with emphasis on the Generator Rotating Field.
Essential Responsibilities
As a Winder - 3rd shift, you will:
· Perform mechanical disassembly / reassembly of generator rotors in high quality and timely fashion (i.e., removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, blocking)
· Perform work using drawings, work procedures or work orders with minimal supervision
· Braze either by torch, carbon or induction
· Perform all electrical tests and inspections
· Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED
· Minimum of 2 years of experience with small to large motor, stator and/or electrical component winding ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· This is a 3rd shift position. All candidates must be willing and able to work 3rd shift.
· Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is

· Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable).Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift
· Ability and willingness to work overtime, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays
Desired Characteristics
· Associate’s Degree / Trade School Degree
· Minimum of 3 years of experience with generators or stators
· Minimum of 3 years of experience with assembling / disassembling end bells / retaining rings
· Minimum of 3 years of experience brazing, either by torch, carbon or induction
· Experience performing electrical testing
· Apprenticeship card from state certified apprenticeship programs
