Role Summary/Purpose

The Warranty Engineer designated by GE, who has the authority to act on behalf of GE, to be responsible for the administration of the GE Warranty program.
Coordinates GE Warranty issues with the Customer.
Provides disposition of claims for GE scope of supply to the Customer.
Arrange for appropriate corrective action by GE Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Advise the Customer with the disposition of the GE warranty claims.
Essential Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for GE to the Customer for Warranty claims
• Provides disposition of Warranty claims of GE supplied equipment to the Customer
• Work with the Project team on Warranty claims and resolution
• Track the status of all Warranty claims
• Complete inspections of the GE supplied equipment during outages and document condition of the equipment.
• Monitor the performance of the Boiler and other GE supplied equipment
• Provide reports to the Project team and Customer.
• Attend Customer meetings as required.
• Shall adhere to all GE Safety, Health and Environmental procedures and policies.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial
• Minimum of Five years Power Plant Maintenance experience
• Experienced and knowledgeable in CFB Maintenance, process and operation
• Excellent planning and organizational expertise, coupled with proactive management of functional responsibilities. Proficient understanding and management of project scheduling
• Effective communication and interface skills with collaborative team approach.
• Strong computer application skills including MS Office, MS Power Point
• Fluent in English and Urdu, Knowing Sindhi Language will be plus
