Role Summary/Purpose

As a member of the Materials and Logistics team, the Warehouse Operator performs a variety of duties to receive supplies from outside of the company, warehouse, keeps records and distributes materials and supplies to various departments of the company. This is a safety sensitive position in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities

• Sort, identify and store incoming materials and supplies in specified storage bins, shelves and other locations.
• Count, prepackage, label and perform other operations to facilitate storage and selection.
• Maintain simple related stock records
• Make entries on company documents and records as to count, location, type and other pertinent data.
Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully complete the 40-hour Hazwoper Course; Required annual 8-hour refresher Hazwoper
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing preferred.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
