Role Summary/Purpose

Based in Lisburn, UK, the Warehouse Teamleader will report to the Materials Manager. The overarching responsibility of the Teamleader is to ensure the warehouse areas operate to the highest levels of efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Lead and motivate Team to achieve GSC goals and meet customer demand
·  Drive an EHS and quality culture within the Team and set the example for Good Practice
·  Plan and manage Team Training and maintain cross-training matrix and competency definitions for each work task
·  Lead daily Flash 5 process and ensure full team engagement
·  Be responsible for housekeeping, 5S, and other compliance calendar tasks in Gensuite i.e. ladder checks, fork lift and van checks
·  Be able to do a day to day work and set the direction and targets for the team of employees maximizing production in a safe working environment and to quality standards
·  Drive absence management process, co-ordinating with HR support, with goal of ensuring high levels of attendance
·  Revise work instruction and training documents as needed
·  Be able to solve problems in area using different methods of root cause analysis
·  Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and eliminate waste
·  Be able to identify and effectively deal with bottlenecks that will affect the daily, weekly plan
·  Collaborate with other stakeholders, MEs, Materials, Quality, Engineering, Sales Support, departments and provide ongoing support to meet customer requirements
·  Lead “Idea are Free” initiative within the team – encourage and resource team to generate and implements improvement ideas
·  Bring new ideas, assist and support Lean events / Kaizen events and other current processes
·  Inventory and WIP job management, ensuring accuracy and up to date
·  Ability to manage a combined hands-on and leadership role
·  Ability to adapt to fulfil team leader role in other production areas
·  Ensure operational activities within the warehouse are completed, including but not limited to:
·  eAndon SLA tracking
·  Updates for ECO’s i.e. rack labels, barcodes, kitting trays, stock organisation
·  Weekly shortage checks
·  Managing offsite location (Expeditors)
·  Place consumables orders i.e. blue/white role, bailer strapping
·  Kanban card audits and follow up investigations
·  Generating China kit lists and labels
·  Raising Jobs for kitting (subs)
·  Cycle counting and follow up investigations
·  Monthly FG counts

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Experience working in a production environment, ideally within a warehouse
·  Experience with Oracle including, Job & inventory transactions and cycle counting
·  Strong people management, organizational and analytical skills
·  Ability and willingness to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
·  Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
