Role Summary/Purpose

The Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor will perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials into production. Controls inventory by coordinating movement of materials in and out align with production requirement. Lead team challenges, KPI's and staffs training. Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment and produce quality results. Works cross-functionally to identify improvement opportunities relating to inventory.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Lead team of warehouse personnel and their daily activities relating to receiving, stocking, picking, movement and shipment of goods

·  Reconcile any inventory discrepancies

·  Review daily cycle counts for approvals

·  Root cause as necessary any discrepancies and put corrective actions in place to maintain high inventory accuracy

·  Plan and conduct periodic inventory checks

·  Observe best practice in handling and packing of material

·  Responsible for continuous improvement projects relating to the warehouse

·  Work closely with operations team to ensure timely issuance of goods to the shop floor in accordance to manufacturing needs

·  Monitoring overstocked of materials for further actions

·  Responsible to ensure material monitoring movement with proper documentations / transactions in ERP system

·  Ensure adherence to Quality requirement in storage and issuing of materials

·  Arrangement and coordination for stocks return / sales upon management / Customer approval

·  Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of warehouse

·  Coach and develop warehouse personnel

·  Influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization

·  Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Warehouse and Inventory management (Including experience with Lean manufacturing)
