Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, based in Memphis, TN, you will be responsible for receiving and/or shipping aircraft parts as well as pulling orders and performing stocking functions. This position may load/unload trucks with inbound and outbound shipments, pre-receive/receive and ship aircraft parts, perform cycle counts, operate forklifts and other tasks associated with warehouse/logistic responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities

You will:

·  Pre-receive and receive incoming parts delivered by various freight companies on daily basis
·  Process Core part returns from customers
·  Review and ensure that all required paperwork is included with core part
·  Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and reliability, make continuous improvements and act on quality problems according to the company's Quality Management System
·  Responsible for regular review and closing of all open receiving
·  Verify part to paperwork and properly package delicate parts for shipment
·  Operate various packing equipment including, Speedy Pak foam machine and bulk foam machine
·  Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers
·  Schedule local pick-up and delivery of material to and from vendors
·  Operate FedEx and UPS computer systems for outbound shipments
·  Verify sales order accuracy and sign-off on every shipment daily
·  Load/Unload trucks with inbound and outbound shipments as needed
·  Perform cycle counts
·  Maintain HazMat certification through approved training
·  Complete HazMat paperwork as required
·  Relocate parts in warehouse as needed to include pulling orders and performing stocking functions
·  Assist the company van driver for delivery and pick up of parts as needed
·  Operate forklifts and order pickers when required, after proper training and certification
·  Maintain housekeeping in designated section of warehouse
·  Perform all duties as assigned by management
·  Ensure a safe working environment by conforming to all EHS guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
·  Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environment regulations
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High school graduate or GED equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in shipping/receiving
·  Must be able to read, write and understand English
·  Must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs
·  Must be able to attain forklift certification provided by Asset Management Services
·  Ability and willingness to work overtime; 
·  Must be able to work our afterhours AOG program
Desired Characteristics

·  Good working knowledge of Windows based computer programs
·  Current forklift certification 
·  Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping systems is a plus
·  Knowledge of ISO standards helpful
·  Computer and math skills are essential
·  Strong communicate skills, both verbally and in writing, are required
·  Attention to detail
·  Ability and willingness to work with hazardous material
