Essential Responsibilities

·  Coordinate two or three-person test teams on turbines, accessory base, or components test work stations as assigned.  
·  Conduct test operations as scheduled, and assure test planning, test methods, quality procedures and safety procedures are followed.  
·  Identify and correct defects and malfunctions on turbines and facility equipment. 
·  Provide technical instruction and work direction to other Test personnel. 
·  Test operations include: Move, install, operate, record data, rework and strip in/out units. Perform and/or assist as necessary in the alignment or leveling of equipment. 
·  Perform trouble shooting and repair of specialized equipment both electrical and mechanical. 
·  Provide technical guidance and support, as needed, in the build of production equipment. 
·  Perform setup of computer hardware & software, install and configure network switches and servers. 
·  Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. 
·  Participate in Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Lean efforts. 
·  Perform gage calibration on instruments. 
·  Perform other related duties and function as part of the team.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Associates Degree (2 years) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or comparable degree program
·  Minimum of 5 years electrical/mechanical experience with installing, troubleshooting, & repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing or power plant environment.
