Role Summary/Purpose
The Training & Support Programs Specialist will support the Field Service training organization as well as provide general operations support.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Specialist - Training and Support Programs, you will:
· Support Field Service training programs including data retention and analysis
· Support set up and hosting of Wilmington-based training classes
· Work with the larger Field Service training team to improve methodology and processes for personnel training and qualification programs
· Develop and implement ideas for continuous improvement efforts for Field Service training programs
· Develop and implement Computer Based Training (CBT) including Nantel and other industry standard systems
· Support document and procedure control and revision
· Support other Operations team duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Technical discipline from an accredited university or college<
· Minimum of 2 years of experience with training and technical writing program experience in an industrial environment
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and willingness to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain and maintain unescorted access and US and International Nuclear Plant Sites
Desired Characteristics
· Knowledge of Nuclear products and services
· Strong facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to integrate Adult Learning Theory into training material / activities
· Experience developing/implementing self-assessment impact audits to identify improvement initiatives
· Familiarity with training performance indicators to monitor and report training effectiveness, efficiency, and organizational impact
· Strong computer and database skills, including Microsoft Suite
· Experience with operations or maintenance technical writing
