Role Summary/Purpose

The Resident Engineer, for the assigned power plant customer portfolio, is responsible for customer technical support and customer services experience , including managing customer relationship and communication, timely responses to customer issues and drive solutions.
Essential Responsibilities

• Providing direct technical guidance and support to customer ’s staff on relevant operational and maintenance matters.
• Analyzing incident reports and suggest necessary actions.
• Informing the customer about possible plant improvements and upgrade options.
• Assist the troubleshooting and rectification and, if required, advising to the customer for repair equipment within the Facility.
• During planned or unplanned inspections, co-ordinations between Customer and Contractor and informing the Customer about modifications and related technical matters.
• Acting as interface for the information to and from the engineering support.
• Helping the customer in selecting tools and equipment required for maintenance
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in power generation industry
• Previous GT26 / GT13E2 gas turbine field service experience, preferably in Commissioning or Control.
• 10 years+ experience of customer/technical/project management in power generation services or energy industry
Desired Characteristics

•Gas turbines and controls system experience
•Previous control field engineer background, familiar with Control Gas and Alpha system
•Six Sigma certified is preferred
•Demonstrated teamwork in a dynamic, energetic and complex environment, equipped with quick learning capability and ownership
•Be self-motivated and able to work under high pressure and constraint time, committed and process oriented
•Ability to work multiple project simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team
