Role Summary/Purpose

Proactively co-ordinate Quality Assurance compliance within the Business Unit. Acting as a conduit for shop employees to provide guidance and timely support of issues ensuring route cause analysis, containment and effective corrective action are executed. Ownership and management of key metrics. proactively driving compliance and continuous improvement of Cell performance through hands on engagement with shop employees and support staff.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Provide primary point of contact for cell teams for all issues or queries related to Quality Assurance and Compliance

·  Own and manage key Quality Assurance metrics

·  Working with local shop employees Proactively drive ,train and energise audit ready Quality 101 culture promoting and ensuring adherence to FOD Prevention, Tool Control, ESD, Calibration, 5s , stamp authorisations and other key compliance requirements within the cell

·  Co-ordinate and monitor quality assurance responsibilities such as CA/PA monitoring, review and verification checks. Complaint RCCA and trending, support site and local quality assurance audits

·  Challenge, expedite and promote Cell Aged N/C closure

·  Support regulatory compliance and optimation of quality assurance systems and procedures relating to complaint handling, adverse event handling, and audit failures

·  Monitor and support effective localised stamp authorisation and associated training within the cell

·  Assist Business Unit Leadership team to ensure EASA responsibilities are being adhered to

·  Anticipate current and future issues and develop actions and plans to minimise negative impact

·  Understand, implement and communicate 5 Why, and 8D analysis process within Cell

·  Collaborate and support Manufacturing Engineers by driving and owning localised systemic product quality improvement activities. Ensure corrective actions and best practise from other areas are duplicated and embedded into the Cell

·  Partner with Cell support departments to embed best practise

·  Proactively develop knowledge from Quality subject experts to ensure improvements are translated.

·  Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer requirements

·  Develop and maintain effective visual and verbal communication of Quality Assurance iniatives, procedural changes and audit findings through local C.C.C.

·  Escalate non-compliance and aged issue resolution to Quality Leadership
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Experience in aviation manufacturing and/or quality manufacturing
