Role Summary/Purpose

To provide functional support to quality management in the factories and to the relevant global support functions by means of promoting, coordinating, facilitating, and implementing the quality requirements, quality assurance and quality improvement projects and tasks
Essential Responsibilities

Product Quality:
• Provides feedback on product and process quality to relevant functions
• Assures the use of Quality procedures, adherence to product requirements to customers
Process Quality:
• Assists in governing the factories and overall regional quality performance concerning defect escapements and quality towards customer
• Assist in conducting audits/assessments of processes for CI adherence and process deviations
• Support the production and quality resources training in the plants as well as resources in global functions with respect to quality inspections and Acceptance Criteria
• Verifies required corrective and preventive actions
• Assist in assuring a common application of quality standards and procedures in the plants
Costs savings:
• Reduces the risk of scrap, defects, etc.

Education • Bachelor degree in Quality, Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering
External Experience • 3-5 years direct Engineering and/or Quality or technical responsibility, preferably working in Wind Blades production
Knowledge and Skills • General knowledge of wind turbine blade manufacturing
• Experience in quality areas in wind turbine blade manufacturing
• Experience in project management
• Able to travel within the region and internationally at the level of 15-20% (in average)
• Able to analyze data using Excel, Minitab, etc.
• Able to drive positive change
• Able to clearly communicate, convince, motivate and inspire others
• Able to work in a multi-cultural team
• Able to communicate in English. At least one other language is a plus
• Background in LEAN Six Sigma is a plus
• Well organized, self-driven person, able to work and complete tasks independently and on time

• Auditor or Lead Auditor certificates preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred
• Experience with LM processes and inspection methods
