Role Summary/Purpose

Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Essential Responsibilities

- Facilitate the incoming inspectors, to manage incoming inspection rules & execute the raw material incoming inspection before manufacture;
- Define incoming inspection strategy to drive incoming inspection in high efficiency
- Solve all raw material quality issues, control down time impact to production line
- Lead communication with SQE & supplier to drive continuous improvement for short term/long term solutions
- Use NCR (Non- conformity record) to track all non-conformity to complete, include Supply/MFG/Design/ handling so on category; handle MRB checking and VBB process with buyer and Finance team
- Woke with GE global team Commodity leader/SQE to improve supplier performance;
- Support gauge validation and calibration job;
- Lead the documentation process at factory
- Drive Quality culture.
Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent degree required
- Have incoming inspection related job for more than 3 years
- Fluent English communication skill, can work with international team directly;
- Good team player to communicate cross teams
- Mechanical or Electrical background, good ability to read specification, drawing, schematics;
- Raw material quality management experience.
- Six sigma fundamental knowledge
- Willing to have night calls with global SQE team
- Be able to travel around China for 10~20% of time
Desired Characteristics

Good knowledge of machining, coating, welding, heat treatment process, NDT etc
SQE related work experiences
Be familiar with APQP process
Rich experiences on QA & QC
