Healthcare Integrated Supply Chain
Provide technical support to improve product quality. This position will focus on product quality through data analysis and issue resolution. This person will be responsible for driving the non-conforming material process and root cause investigation through coordination with Production Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead analysis of defect data and CAPA creation / resolution and maintain records as specified by the GEHC quality system
Interface with Supplier Quality on supplier related defects
Interface with SQE, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements that minimize the Costs of Quality, specifically Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues, Field Failures, and Factory defects.
Develop positive relationships and work closely with SQE, Sourcing team to manage and implement engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers.
Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends, and communicate with SQEs, Engineering, PEs, QAs and feeder plants for resolution.
Ownership of the customer RMA and internal MRB processes
Reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory
Quality Specific Goals:
1.Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4.Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
5.Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs
1.Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of product quality manage experience
2.Technical knowledge of plastic & sheet metal parts about manufacturing processes
3.Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of our business in an easy to understand manner.
4.Strong communication skills, verbal and written
5.Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab, etc.
