Role Summary/Purpose

As a member of a World-Class team. The Punch Press Operator will manufacture and process the bending of parts with manufacturing equipment while adhering to Engineering, Quality, and safety equipment. They will operate bending and punch press equipment.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Punch Press Operator, you will:

·  Interpret and read complex engineering drawings
·  Utilize micrometers, calipers, and guages for tolerance operations
·  Operate forklift to move components, etc.
·  Perform first piece inspections on all parts
·  Operate punch press equipment to perform duties
·  Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED
·  Minimum of 1 year fabrication experience operating machinery and tools, which requires close tolerances and high accuracy in the fabrication and assembling of parts and components

Desired Characteristics

·  Good math Skills
·  Fork Lift Operation experience
·  Team Player
·  Brazing experience
·  Knowledge of GE internal processes including pulling drawings from the system, work orders, etc.
