Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for an English speaking Engineer to facilitate a Global position to develop and approve wind turbine blade Moulds and production equipment.
It will be your responsibility to develop our Production equipment together with or suppliers to make it more safe, reliable, and more effective - whether complete large Moulds or minor equipment.
Design and create specifications for procurement, create the dialog between internal/external stakeholders to ensure the best solution and cost.
Essential Responsibilities

You will work close together with the Danish Mould Supply department and Engineering Team ware you Manager also will be placed, you will be part of a divergent team that is mostly based in Denmark, so you need to be self-driven person that can handle to travel and work alone, but when you work from your office you will be placed at one of our Chinese plants ware there will be a lot of colleagues.

You will travel to Suppliers for development and approval, to LM Blade facilities that is place 15 locations around the world to install our Equipment’s to make sure all Plants is running without any delay.

We have big turning devices, Clamps, Floor rail systems for our Moulds that we need an experience Electrical and hydraulic Engineer to help develop and mature for stable production.

Support our 15 production sites around the world. Take part of the ongoing innovation and development of the main production equipment both new and existing
Support in making FAI / FAT / SAT on equipment at suppliers or costumers around the world.
To do this, the candidate must expect travel activity about 150 days per year.

Equipment development + modifications of existing Moulds and equipment
Always prioritize and ensure EHS and Quality in every aspect
The role is responsible for the technical aspect of the solutions
Secure best practice of solutions
Develop to ensure better availability on equipment (less downtime)
Secure technical documentation
Specifications
Validation and sign off on equipment
Ensure compliance with relevant directives, standards and regulation
Concept development for new equipment and manufacturing concepts
Drive innovation and new developments
Evolution of existing equipment
Develop electric equipment for better performance and less downtime
Support to Product Design and Engineering (global)
Support to Business Units (regions)
Travel: There will be 100 – 200 travel days per year
Qualifications/Requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills - English spoken and written is a requirement

Hydraulic / Electrical Engineering degree – or similar

External Experience:
3-7 years within development/manufacturing environment
Experience within large construction or machine design
Desired Characteristics

CAD experience (NX, SW, Inventor etc.) + PDM (TCE etc.)
Static/Dynamic calculations (understanding)
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills.
Proven analytical and organizational ability.
Practical experience is an advantage
Electrical and/or hydraulic components is an advantage
Lean / six sigma understanding
Knowledge of EHS and quality (CE, OSHA etc.) standards
