Role Summary/Purpose

The Production Supervisor will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line and will include Service Shops.

This is an offshift position - 2nd shift

Essential Responsibilities

·  Provide oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees

·  Directly manage hourly employees

·  Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent

·  Work together with people from the business unit

·  Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues

·  Communicate with direct team and supervisor

·  Present to internal teams on metrics, project status and research

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

·  Ability and willingness to work an offshift position - 2nd shift

·  FAA Repairmen Certificate, A&P License or experience managing in the aviation industry
