Role Summary/Purpose

We are in need of a 2nd shift front-line supervisor. This role will provide leadership for several manufacturing groups.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Direct team of hourly operations employees to meet EHS, quality, service, schedule attainment and productivity goals.

·  Provide scheduling, work direction and performance feedback for hourly workforce.

·  Responsible for setting clear expectations of team and driving the accountability required.

·  Implement actions to improve product and process quality, decrease downtime and eliminate shrinkage.

·  Monitor and improve productivity and ensure all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost conscious manner.

·  Lead and participate in environmental, health and safety efforts in support of plant goals.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

·  Minimum 2 years of supervisory and operations experience in manufacturing.

·  Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office

·  Strong leadership skills

·  Ability to work other shifts when necessary

·  High energy, motivated team player

·  Prior experience leading in a unionized environment

·  Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred
