Role Summary/Purpose

·  Organize and Lead procurement activities: Purchase Order launch and follow-up, day-to-day interactions with suppliers during purchase order execution and with internal partners (Engineering, Quality...)

·  Ensure & assess supplier performance with support of the Commodity Buyer

·  Ensure the RFQ provided is properly translated in Purchase Order with all requirements.

·  Proceed RFQ on delegation of Commodity Buyer kept in line with his strategy (panel etc.)
Essential Responsibilities

·  Place PO in the system, ensure its acknowledgment and manage/monitor/report on its execution (incl. inspections, delivery dispute, invoice follow up, supplier payment according to local rules…)

·  PO follow-up and update in ERP ensuring accuracy of data (delivery date…)

·  Ensure Hydro fulfill its contractual obligations on time (Document delivery, approvals, answer to requests and deviations…)

·  Follow up PO operational process on regular basis (delivery date as per need and feasibility etc.), optimize it (manage delivery as per need etc.) and document PO execution

·  Interact with Master Scheduling / Requestor to understand needs and provide full visibility on changes in Quality Cost & Delivery requirements

·  Get back delivery and custom documents

·  Find new opportunities for financial improvement related to Cash out / Cash Optimization activities

·  Manage claims to suppliers with support of the Commodity

·  Contribute to optimization of inventory management (delivery dispute management)
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor Degree in Engineering with Purchasing or Economics profession or equivalent knowledge or work experience

·  Operational supply chain : >Strong experience in English commercial environment

·  Knowledge in Cross-cultural management,

·  Strong knowledge in ERP management (transaction usage, data accuracy etc.)

·  English speaking

·  APICS certificate appreciated

·  Office Software (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
